We are the only ones who can elect Paul, folks. The machine is against him.
The media has been doing everything in their power to undo the campaign of Ron Paul. They have proliferated ideas that he is “nuts” or that he can’t possibly win. Just now during the Iowa Caucus returns, Fox television talking head, Brit Hume, disrespectfully said that if Ron Paul wins the caucus, it will render the Iowa Caucus irrelevant in predicting future presidents from now on. The truth is that if Americans want Ron Paul, according to the Constitution, they should be able to have him. The challenge is that we have to do it ourselves. Ron Paul’s support is grass roots.
In my opinion, Americans who love America can get Ron Paul elected, and here’s why… If Paul were to receive the Republican nomination, most Republicans would vote for him. After all, Paul is a true conservative and they would take that any day over another 4 years of leftist agenda. Libertarians and Independents would mostly vote for Paul, and you know what? It’s my assertion that a significant portion of Democrats would vote for Paul as well. Many Democrats favor personal freedoms such as the legalization of marijuana and would champion less American war. I believe Paul could find favor amongst the Democrats themselves. If I am right, Paul could beat Obama in a landslide and go on to be an entirely new type of president. I also don’t know what kind of power we are truly up against. I am not sure at all that our elections aren’t rigged. I am sad to say it, but if the establishment (whoever that is – illuminati, the new world order, powerful behind the scenes puppeteers, or whomever) doesn’t want Paul, there’s not much we can do. But we could at least expose it. We do this by supporting Ron Paul in such numbers that if he were to lose, we would all know that it’s all rigged. OR – he gets elected and America gets a chance to be great and run by the people again.
Aside from Obama’s plans to spend One Billion dollars on his campaign, the biggest hurdle we face are those who already feel entitled to other people’s hard earned money. These people don’t even know what freedom is, so how can they defend it? They are slaves to welfare, unemployment, food stamps, superfluous government jobs etc. Dr. Paul wants to re-establish small government; that is going to mean cutting a lot. The people who are on the receiving end of these cuts (War contractors, government employees involved in the war on drugs, the Fed, etc.) are going to go kicking and screaming. These are mainly going to be the hard-core Democrats and the teet suckers to whom they pander.
If you think that most Americans think Ron Paul can’t win, the media has you snowed. What other candidate has thousands of supporters whose Twitter profiles read like this:
@brianarrhea Life. Liberty.Property. Pursuit of Happiness. #ENDTHEWARS #ENDTHEFED #RonPaul2012

These are not tweets. They are people’s descriptions of themselves. And they are an army folks. I really like Ron Paul, so even I get called names like “Paulbot” and “crazy”. Many sane and celebrated people are outspoken about their support of Ron Paul including Joe Rogan, John Mayer, and Vince Vaughn . If you think that I’m crazy for supporting Ron Paul, then you must think the Constitution is a worthless piece of paper, and I have nothing in common with you. You’d probably also think I’m crazy for using cloth diapers, homeschooling, breastfeeding, giving birth at home, avoiding hospitals, believing that all boys have the right to their foreskin, so I suppose that it’s no loss to me… If, however, you resonate with me because of these freedoms I enjoy and champion, please subscribe to my website. These are the things I normally write about.
But today I concern myself with the dwindling freedom we are experiencing here in our lovely land of the formerly free and the home of the entitled, formerly brave. If you are of the persuasion that Ron Paul is “looney” then you might have been bought and sold by the war-machine establishment which owns the media. Please, read on. And then, if you think I’m off, by all means, change my mind.
Definintion of constitutionalism:
Constitutionalism is the idea, often associated with the political theories of John Locke and the “founders” of the American republic, that government can and should be legally limited in its powers, and that its authority depends on its observing these limitations. If you think Ron Paul is crazy, then what you really believe is that our Constitution is crazy. And if that’s the case, you would probably be happier somewhere else.
Ron Paul has been a constitutionalist for his entire political career. That’s why it’s very easy for him to actually answer the questions which he is posed. Unlike other politicians who have a personal agenda, Dr. Paul simply wants to maintain our Constitutional integrity. For instance, he doesn’t personally think it’s okay to use illicit drugs, but he’s not representing us in congress to push through his or anyone else’s persuasion. The Constitution, which is in place to guarantee our liberties here in the US, doesn’t provide a space for the government to make such regulations as telling us what we can and can’t put in our own bodies, hence Dr. Paul’s stance on the legalization of drugs. Whether it’s the dissipation of the Federal Reserve or his stance on foreign policy, it’s always really very simple. What does the Constitution say?
A Racist? Really?
When asked about these wars that we go out and wage elsewhere in the world, Paul simply states that that was not what the Constitution had in mind for America. We should reserve the disgretion to defend our borders, and this we should do well, but no where in the Constitution does it allow for us to be the world’s police. I heard recently that Dr. Paul was accused of being racist because he didn’t want tax payers to pay for a gold medal to honor Rosa Parks. Watch this one-minute video to see for yourself. In it he says that Rosa Parks is a hero for her courageous civil disobedience and that it was hard to make the vote. He also said that would be the first to donate to such a medal with his own money, but not the American people’s money. Dr. Paul doesn’t take lightly the spending of other American’s money. In fact, he proposes that he can cut 1 trillion dollars from our deficit in the first year of office. This cut of wasted spending would be totally natural, a simple by-product of government functioning the way the founding fathers planned.
I saw this tweet today:
Anyone who thinks that Dr. Ron Paul is anything other than an intelligent, kind, loving, level-headed, hardworking badass has been misled by the media. These people should simply listen to Ron Paul. Not the media.
Those in power of the media are scouring Dr. Paul’s defenses of the Constitution and twisting them or “spinning” them to make him seem irrational. Why is everyone so scared of Ron Paul? Because he could actually beat Obama.
For those who say that Paul’s Foreign Policy of staying out of other peoples business is irresponsible and that this alone should negate his candidacy, since when can the President of the United States of America single handedly make decisions like this? Paul wants to defend America, but not by playing hard-ball offense. It is to our advantage to protect ourselves from terrorists, and we can do this with much greater ease if we don’t go to their harboring countries and upheave them.
Our Military Loves Him
Dr. Paul has been in the military. He was a doctor in Vietnam. He receives more in campaign donations from US service people than does any other candidate. With his medical background, who better to oversee the needed overhaul of American medical care?
If any of you don’t think that the size of government has gotten out of hand, once again, you’ve been duped by the media in our country. Our media are very biased, you see. The parent companies of NBC, etc. are also the parent companies of the corporations that get the government contracts for military affairs.
It’s easy to look at a country like Mexico, Cuba, N. Korea, or Sudan and feel sorry for a people who have absolutely no power against the establishment of power in their country. Well, it’s apparent to me that we are no different. The American people play into the plan with such panache, yet entirely ignorant to their role at the same time. A Romney vs. Obama makes the establishment breathe a sigh of relief. Either way, the American people will be fed a bunch of fear and need for big government. Aside from this speculation of mine, Dr. Paul is my topic.
