Ron Paul wins Texas Straw Poll and other things the media will neglect to report

Ron Paul not only won the Texas straw poll, he mopped up. Paul received 54.4% of the texted-in vote. Mitt Romney, the media and powers-that-be favorite, received 4.2%, folks. Of the walk-ins, Paul won as well at 27.9% with Romney at 6.6%. I can’t find any of the major media out there reporting these results, aside from the local ABC affiliate in Houston, where the poll took place. Before the poll, plenty of pundits were encouraging people to participate. Even redstate.com, the Republican party go-to website, had a link to vote. This woman, apparent status-quo lover, was encouraging people to vote because she was afraid that Ron Paul supporters were going to show up in force. She accuses Ron Paul of trying to “steal” the paper and text Texas straw poll.

Dr. Paul also won the Ohio straw poll, the Idaho straw poll, the Oklahoma straw poll, the North Carolina straw poll, the California straw poll, in fact, he’d won 19 straw polls by Nov.4th of last year, and Mitt Romney had won only 4. Even if you are not a Dr. Paul supporter, it should still really interest you that most people apparently are and that the media is telling us differently.

And other things the media will neglect to tell us…

Now, this is really stealing. It is well documented that electronic voting machines can be rigged, and very likely have been in the past. Watch this video. The remedy is simply for the machines to be engineered to print out receipts of individual votes to the voters themselves. That’s us. How could we stand for anything less? We’ll never know that our voices have truly been heard until we implement voting receipts and hand count them as a safety net to ensure no one is rigging any elections.

I love freedom, y’all. It’s time for a Revolution. Let’s take our country back. I don’t really care which candidate leads us to do it, but it just so happens that the only one we have right now who wants to shake up our big, bloated government is Ron Paul.

I’m right there with you, Betsy. The media will never touch this I’m afraid. I just left a town hall-type meeting that Santorum held in Florence, SC. I thought I recorded it on camera but failed to do so properly, but my grandfather who is 76 years old and a die-hard Ron Paul supporter along with myself asked Santorum about his support in abolishing or at least auditing the Federal Reserve. My grandfather took him to school on the unconstitutionality of it being supported by bankers and how they debase the currency etc. One of his cronies came over to us when Rick walked away and asked me if I was a Ron Paul supporter. I said “how come when anyone says anything about the Federal Reserve, people automatically assume they are a Paul supporter?” I then said “yes, I am a Paul supporter, and so is he(my granddad), but we’re not in your typical demographic of supporters of Ron Paul that are 18-30 and people are waking up and studying economics, even here in redneck country, and that the Fed is behind the booms and busts and the manipulating of interest rates and they are the ones that are debasing the currency which has lost 95% of it’s value since 1913″. He just grinned and said “well, I gotta get back with Rick”.
I also got Rick to sign the cover of the recent American Free Press paper, which he headlined with his attempt to eliminate free speech in college campuses around the country if they allowed professors or students to speak out against Israel in class by eliminating the funds or rewriting the federal funding formula under title IX of the Higher Education Act by including what he called “ideological diversity” as a prerequisite. This is a grab of the 1st amendment no matter how you look at it.

Ron Paul is the only man fighting for our freedom in the belly of the beast by going against the banking system. I just hope people wake up in time but if we stay with electronic voting without giving us a receipt afterwards, it doesn’t matter if every voter in the country pulled for Paul, they wouldn’t let him win because of how big of a threat to the establishment he is. Peace, is not dangerous, war is, and that’s where my vote is going because soon, we will all be using New Hampshire’s motto, “Live Free Or Die”.
Oh, and Betsy, I didn’t see wife anywhere on your bio. Where have you been………

Great comment Mr. Patriot. Thanks, and thanks for the love… yes, there’s a Mr. Dewey in real life – I just don’t bring him into my cyber world.

I was at the poll this weekend JUST to vote for Dr. Paul. I went on my own and by myself. I was surprised by how many Paul supporters were there however, I wasn’t surprised that Fox News chose to report instead that 150 evangelical leaders met in Houston on Saturday to voice their support for Santorum. No mention whatsoever of the 4000 people who voted in the straw poll overwhelmingly in favor of Ron Paul. The news indeed.

Let them crook and hook. All I can say is they best pray to god that they can some how obtain that magic number of 1144 delegates before the convention. Personally I don’t think any of them can. And if they do not then we will clean their clocks at the national convention.
I am a delegate for Ron Paul out of GA and I am licking my chops.
My county convention was probably 80% RP supporters and it is that way all across GA. Go to a brokered convention and we will suck up at least 75% of the delegates from GA.
